Q1. Why did you enroll in JCS? Why did you come to Okinawa? Why do you study Japanese?
A1. I’ve always been interested in studying a language.
When I was in the Philippines , I used to teach English to Japanese students.
I observed that they were really interesting and very eager to learn .
Such experience has pushed me to know more of their culture and most especially , to study their language.
I heard from my previous student about JCS( Japanese Cultural Study Academy ) , a language school in Okinawa. Upon hearing about it , I made a research about the aforementioned school.
The positive feedback of the school and the recommendation from my friend has driven me to enroll at JCS.

Q2. How is life in Okinawa?
A2. Living in Okinawa is a little bit difficult but very interesting .
It’s difficult because of the language barrier , which I think , is a common problem when someone lives abroad.On the other hand , it’s interesting because I got the opportunity to learn about the historical places in Okinawa.
Furthermore , the best thing I love about Okinawa is it’s people. They are very friendly and kind.

Q3. How is the class? How is JCS?
A3. The classrooms in JCS are conducive to learning. In JCS , I was able to understand and know more about Japanese Culture. In addition to that , I had a chance to connect to students from different countries through Japanese language. Moreover , the teachers in JCS are very enthusiastic , supportive and approachable which made my Japanese learning experience a truly fun and memorable one.

Q4. Message to Juniors!
A4. I understand that studying Japanese language is very difficult but don’t worry , remember , no one starts off being excellent. Therefore , allow yourself to be a beginner. Study hard and do your best, learning doesn’t take place overnight. Don’t give up! Have fun! You can do it!
